Account and data controls

Delete your Togethium account

You can request deletion of your Togethium account and associated data inside the app or through the alternative email path provided by Ascendward, LLC d/b/a Togethium.

1. Request deletion inside the app

  1. Open Togethium and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Find Delete account.
  4. Select Request account deletion.
  5. Review the warning and select Confirm deletion request.

The signed-in flow binds the request to the authenticated account email. You can return to Settings to see whether an active request is requested, verifying, or processing.

2. Alternative request path from the web

If you uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or cannot access Settings, email us from the address associated with your Togethium account. The email itself starts the deletion-request process; you do not need to reinstall the app.

Email hi@togethium.comRequired subject: [Togethium Account Deletion]. Send from the account email when possible.

Include a clear statement that you want your Togethium account and associated data deleted. Do not include your password, verification codes, government ID, medical records, or unrelated sensitive information. We will request only the information reasonably needed to verify account ownership.

3. What happens after a request

  1. We receive and log the deletion request.
  2. We verify that the requester controls or is authorized to act for the account.
  3. We process deletion of the account and associated data in active systems, subject to the limited exceptions below.
  4. We update the request status and provide confirmation through an available verified contact method.

We process verified requests as quickly as reasonably practicable and within applicable legal deadlines. If we need more time or cannot delete particular information, we will explain the reason where legally permitted.

Deletion is intended to be permanent

You may lose access to your account, app history, settings, and other associated data. Contact support immediately if you submitted a request by mistake; cancellation may not be possible after processing has begun.

4. Data associated with the account

Subject to verification, legal exceptions, and system design, deletion is intended to cover:

  • The authentication account and profile information.
  • Document acceptances, age certification, and onboarding state.
  • Queue, matching, meeting-participant, and turn records linked to the account.
  • Feedback and other account-linked product records.
  • Support information where deletion is not overridden by a safety, security, legal, or rights-protection need.

Togethium is designed not to record or transcribe live circle audio, so there is no stored circle-audio content in the Togethium account record to delete.

5. Information that may be retained for a limited purpose

We may retain the minimum information reasonably necessary for security, fraud and ban-evasion prevention, safety enforcement, legal compliance, dispute resolution, exercise or defense of legal claims, financial or business records, and proof that a deletion request was handled. Restricted backups may retain deleted information temporarily until normal overwrite cycles complete.

Retained information is not kept for ordinary product use and remains subject to the protections described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Important notes

  • Deleting the Togethium app from your device does not delete your account.
  • Signing out does not delete your account.
  • A deletion request may require identity or account-control verification.
  • We will never ask for your password or one-time verification code by email.
  • If you only want to leave the waitlist and do not have an app account, email hi@togethium.com with the subject “[Togethium Waitlist Removal].”
